When will it be your time to SHINE?
Whenever you decide it will be!
You’ve been given gifts, talents and specific tastes for a reason. Allowing them to shine, and benefit yourself and others is what they are there for. Keeping them hidden is not only selfish, it’s also defeatist and pointless.
Wanting to grow your gifts, use them to their full potential and to share them with others – that’s how you get closer to your purpose. When you’re truly shining, that’s when you KNOW what your purpose is and why you’ve been put on this earth.
Give yourself the gift today, of doing something that is in your own core strengths. Doing something you LOVE to do – even if you don’t know right now how it is connected to your purpose, that will become evident.
Forcing yourself to do things that are not your core strengths only works for a short period – but it’s not the answer.
Working with someone who will help you to identify your true core strengths and skills is vital to living your purpose. I’ve seen men and women doing jobs they tolerate, until they get real about what their real strengths and abilities are, AND what they would love to do. When they relax into that, that’s when the magic happens.
This is not about discipline, or lack thereof. I’ve found that those working in their areas of passion are highly disciplined and hard working – it just doesn’t feel like hard work or discipline. It feels like fun, it feels fulfilling. I know entrepreneurs who work 16-20 hour days and wouldn’t have it any other way. I also know some who only work in their business for 4-5 hours a day, and play sport or other fun stuff the rest of the time. It’s really up to you and how you want to do it.
When you’re doing something that isn’t in your core strength area, that’s when it feels like you need all the discipline in the world to keep doing it. It feels forced, it feels hard.
I’d like to invite you to get in touch with me and find out how I can help you get where you want to go, achieve those goals, AND be very much on purpose and in line with who you really are and what you really, really want.
